The Pennine Way Screening - Sheffield February 20, 2024 On Wednesday 10th April, we’ll be showing our new film “The Pennine Way” for the first time since the premiere at Kendal Mountain Festival in November. We’ve booked out a lovely venue in Sheffield, the Hideaway, after attending another amazing screening there by our good friends at Cotic Bikes. Pop down any time from 6pm for drinks at the bar and top notch food from The Bhaji Shop. Meet Fredi, the extraordinary 54-year-old South Asian dynamo. She's not your usual hiker. A football coach, gas engineer, and plumber, she's got limited hiking experience. Yet, she's set her sights on conquering the epic 268-mile Pennine Way for her upcoming 55th birthday. Join Fredi as she shares 24 exhilarating days on this historic trail. The British Mountaineering Council will be showing their new short film, Access Land, from 7:30PM with a short Q&A session afterwards. The Pennine Way will start just after the BMC at around 8PM. We are showing the extended version of the film, so grab a drink and get comfy. We’ll also be showing the film in our hometown of Manchester and Fredi’s hometown of Nottingham. So, if you can’t make it to this screening, keep your eyes peeled for us announcing more dates. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite and include food. There will be one food option which is vegan. Capacity is limited so get on it now, book here!
